Devold® Shield is a collection of underwear and mid layer suitable for working environment where you handle electricity, gas, heat and flame. Shield is knitted of Lenzing FR® and merino wool, with reinforcements in polyamide. In addition, Nega-Stat® is implicated. Nega-Stat® is a special yarn which gives the garments optimal antistatic protection. Shield also protects against arcing and electrical flashover. The garments are terry knitted and there is therefore a layer of air between the body and the garment that insulates against both cold and heat.
